Virginia Hey got secret agent James Bond (played by Timothy Dalton) enraptured by her beauty in The Living Daylights (1987), the 15th installment of the Bond movie franchise. In the movie, she played Rubavitch, the mistress of General Leonid Pushkin (John Rhys-Davies) in Morocco.
But these days, Hey may be found in Bath, UK where she told the Bath Chronicle she plans to lead guided meditation classes throughout 2017. She teaches The Key of Life Meditation which she explained contains everything needed to support people in leading well-balanced lives.
Her first class at the Apthorp Centre will be held on Dec. 28. She said that she will be teaching her number one beauty secret: Meditation.
“Meditation is the key that unlocks a potential for all aspects of you to work even more harmoniously together. In our busy world, the ‘key’ is quiet time to de-stress, heal, regroup thoughts, find motivation, wisdom, peace and relaxation. These are all vital for physical, mental, and emotional health and wellbeing,” she said.
Although she had done modelling and acted in other projects after The Living Daylights, such as Mad Max 2 and Farscape, she realized that she had to take care of her inner well-being and beauty. She found balance through natural therapies and meditation which she had been studying since she was 13 years old.
The first book she read that put her on the path towards meditation was The Third Eye by Lobsang Rampa. For many years she also immersed herself in other healing modalities such as Visualization Meditation, Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Herbal, Higher Self Connection, Reiki, and others.
Hey had already been teaching meditation since the mid-1990’s. She described her technique as a non-religious method that is relaxing, de-stressing, aids in self-healing, and helps people connect with their Highest Guidance.
“In my meditations you will hear my voice guiding you into a deep state of relaxation. Guided meditations are ideal, the brain never switches off, its literally impossible to quieten the mind. With my Guided Meditation the only thing you focus on is my voice guiding you to relax and self heal, this keeps your mind busy and it doesnt have time to wander!” she said.
Virginia Hey’s The Key of Life Meditation classes start at £25 per person. Classes run for 90 minutes each. Advanced booking is required at her official website.
