Dubai is home to some of the biggest over-the-top attractions and buildings in the world and now you can do underwater yoga in the world biggest mall too. But you don’t need to don hefty scuba gear over your yoga pants at this underwater yoga class. The class will take place in The Tunnel at Emaar Entertainment’s Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo in the Dubai Mall.
The class will take place every Saturday morning from 8 to 9am with limited admission for only 35 participants. Only four sessions are currently scheduled for the Underwater Yoga Retreat at the Dubai Aquarium. The themes and teachers for the sessions are as follows:

Sept. 9 – Taking the Plunge with Alison McLaughlin
A strong Vinyasa flow with partner inversions that even those new to yoga may try.
Sept. 16 – Go with the Flow with Melissa Ghattas
A creative class with funky transitions that will make you sweat.
Sept. 23 – Riding the Wave with Alison McLaughlin
Start off with 10 minutes of breathing followed by a gentle stretch to relieve stress.
Sept. 30 – Calming Waters with Patricia Kallidis
A Vinyasa class with a focus on balance.
All of the instructors for the Underwater Yoga class are from Piloga Studio Pilates and Yoga is the main sponsor of the event.
The Underwater Yoga classes at the Dubai Aquarium are priced at Dh120 per session or Dh450 for all four in the series. Free use of yoga mats, all-natural juices from Raw Pressery, and Coconut Water by VitaCoco will be provided for all participants.
Participants who book early will also get a chance to win a gift bag from Lululemon in raffle draws which will be held every Friday.
